Magma Source and Petrogenesis of the Early Cretaceous Granites in The Liaodong Peninsula: Evidence from In Situ Apatite Sr-Nd and Zircon Hf-O Isotopes

Apatite Sr-Nd and zircon Hf-O isotopes are broadly used to trace magma sources constrain evolution processes, further improving our understanding of the origin granitoids. We present U-Pb ages, whole-rock major elements, Sr-Nd-Hf, Hf-O, apatite isotopic data for coarse-grained quartz monzonite, biotite monzogranite, granite porphyry in Yushulinzi pluton Liaodong Peninsula, eastern North China Craton, establish their petrogenesis. The were formed contemporaneously, with ages 123–119 Ma. They share enriched Sr-Nd-Hf Hf compositions, monzonite has crust-like δ18O values (5.7–6.7‰). monzogranite have variable (87Sr/86Sr)i ratios negative εNd(t) values. These characteristics indicate that different rock types derived from partial melting ancient crustal material Craton. Their geochemical petrographic crystal-melt segregation model can be employed elucidate genetic links among types, representing crystal accumulation interstitial melts extracted a crystal-rich chamber. Furthermore, Sr compositions subtle differences peak εHf(t) studied samples confirm possibility contribution shallow components materials high during evolution, which is not readily revealed by compositions. results demonstrate situ analyses potential provide distinctive insights into magmatic systems.
